Himalayan peaks catching the final light of day

A climbing & awareness retreat

Rewire.

20—26 October 2026

Seven days

Six guests

Shantiniketan · Almora

A week designed to change how you respond—on the rock, under pressure and in the moments where choice usually disappears.

01 The experience

Climbing is
the surface.

Over seven days in the Himalaya, you move through a simple arc—from reaction, to awareness, to choice.

What sits beneath the climbing is the work: how you meet fear, hesitation and the decisions you usually make without noticing.

On arrival, you are given a rope. You tie it. Adjust it. Carry it through the week. You leave with the same rope and a different relationship to it.

02 Who

Who this is for.

  • You are curious about climbing in the Himalayas—beginner or experienced
  • You want to try outdoor climbing in a simple, supported way, on top rope
  • You climb indoors and want an introduction to moving on rock
  • You want to understand how you respond under pressure
  • You value depth over surface-level experiences

03 What

What you’ll experience.

  • Three days of guided outdoor climbing on top rope
  • Visualization sessions to meet fear and rehearse movement
  • A day in the Binsar forest—active recovery, with no agenda
  • Reflection circles and time to rest, walk and sit with what arrives
  • Six nights at a quiet property on an Almora ridge

04 The flow

Seven days.

A rhythm of movement and stillness. Each day builds on the one before it.

Day 01

Arrive

Land, settle in, meet the group. Set intention for the week.

Day 02

Face

First climb. Notice fear, hesitation and the impulse to control.

Day 03

Slow Down

A forest day in Binsar. Reset the system.

Day 04

Apply

Climb again. See what feels different.

Day 05

Integrate

A slower day. Connect what you experienced to your life.

Day 06

Embody

Final climb. Move with more awareness.

Day 07

Return

Leave with clarity—and something to carry forward.

05 The approach

Why
visualization.

Before you move on the wall, your mind has already made a decision. Simple visualization practices, woven through the week, help you notice hesitation before it shows up.

Rehearse movement. Meet uncertainty a little differently. This is not performance work. It is attention work.
